Volkmar Mühleis teaches philosophy and aesthetics at LUCA School of Arts in Brussels and Ghent. His research enfolds studies on blindness and art, artistic practice and theory, and politics and art, among others. As reviewer he publishes regularly in Philosophische Rundschau.
